²⁵ “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!”^(A)

¹² But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.^(A)

³⁰ Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about him.^(A)

⁴¹ Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!”^(A) But he rebuked^(B) them and would not allow them to speak,^(C) because they knew he was the Messiah.

Jesus Predicts His Death

²¹ Jesus strictly warned them not to tell this to anyone.^(A)

⁴ Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.^(A) But go, show yourself to the priest^(B) and offer the gift Moses commanded,^(C) as a testimony to them.”
