Mark 1:24-26

The Voice

Unclean Spirit: ²⁴What are You doing here, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I can see who You are! You’re the Holy One of God.

Jesus (rebuking him): ²⁵Be quiet, and come out of him now!

²⁶The man’s body began to shake and shudder; and then, howling, the spirit flew out of the man.

²⁴“What do you want with us,^(A) Jesus of Nazareth?^(B) Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”^(C)

²⁵“Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!”^(D) ²⁶The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek.^(E)
