Ginpakamalaot ni Jesus ang Kahoy nga Higera(A)

12 Pagkaaga, sang paghalin nila sa Betania pabalik sa Jerusalem, gin-gutom si Jesus. 13 May nakita siya nga kahoy nga higera nga madabong ang dahon. Gani ginkadtuan niya kon may bunga. Pero wala siya sing may nakita nga bunga kundi puro lang dahon, kay indi pa ato tion nga inugpamunga. 14 Dayon nagsiling si Jesus sa higera, “Halin subong wala sing tawo nga makakaon sang imo bunga!” Nabatian sang iya mga sumulunod ang iya ginhambal.

Jesus Curses a Fig Tree and Clears the Temple Courts(A)(B)(C)

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.(D) 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

20 Pagkaaga, sang nagapabalik sila pa-Jerusalem, didto naman sila nag-agi sa kahoy nga higera, kag nakita nila nga nalaya ini kag patay na. 21 Nadumduman ni Pedro ang natabo. Gani nagsiling siya kay Jesus, “Manunudlo, tan-awa ang kahoy nga higera nga imo ginpakamalaot! Nalaya na!” 22 Nagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Magtuo kamo sa Dios! 23 Ang matuod, kon may pagtuo kamo, sarang kamo makasiling sa sini nga bukid, ‘Maghalin ka kag magsaylo sa dagat,’ kag kon wala kamo nagapangduhaduha kundi nagatuo nga ini matabo, matuman ina suno sa inyo ginhambal. 24 Gani ginasugiran ko kamo nga bisan ano ang inyo pangayuon sa Dios sa pangamuyo, magtuo kamo nga nabaton na ninyo, kag mabaton gid ninyo.

20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi,(A) look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.(B) 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.(C)
