Malachi 2:6-8
Modern English Version
6 True instruction was in his mouth, and injustice was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and with uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity.
7 For a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of Hosts. 8 But you have departed from the way. You have caused many to stumble at the law. You have violated the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of Hosts.

6 True instruction(A) was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked(B) with me in peace(C) and uprightness,(D) and turned many from sin.(E)
7 “For the lips of a priest(F) ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger(G) of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.(H) 8 But you have turned from the way(I) and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;(J) you have violated the covenant(K) with Levi,”(L) says the Lord Almighty.
