“When you say that Yahweh’s table may be despised. When you bring a blind animal to sacrifice, isn’t that wrong? When you bring a lame or a sick animal, isn’t that wrong? Try offering it to your governor. Would he accept it from you? Would he welcome you?” asks Yahweh Tsebaoth.

“Now try asking El to be kind to you. This is what you are doing! Will he welcome you?” asks Yahweh Tsebaoth.

“By saying that the Lord’s table(C) is contemptible. When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals,(D) is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased(E) with you? Would he accept you?” says the Lord Almighty.(F)

“Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings(G) from your hands, will he accept(H) you?”—says the Lord Almighty.
