24 (A)“Naye zibasanze mmwe abagagga,
kubanga mufunye essanyu lyammwe erijjuvu.
25 (B)Zibasanze mmwe abalya ne mukkuta kaakano,
kubanga mulirumwa enjala.
Zibasanze mmwe abaseka kaakano,
kubanga mulikungubaga, ne mukaaba.
26 (C)Zibasanze mmwe abantu bonna bwe babawaana,
kubanga bwe batyo bajjajjammwe bwe baayisa bannabbi aboobulimba.”

24 “But woe to you who are rich,(A)
for you have already received your comfort.(B)
25 Woe to you who are well fed now,
for you will go hungry.(C)
Woe to you who laugh now,
for you will mourn and weep.(D)
26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you,
for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.(E)
