Luke 1:61-63 New English Translation
61 They[a] said to her, “But[b] none of your relatives bears this name.”[c] 62 So[d] they made signs to the baby’s[e] father,[f] inquiring what he wanted to name his son.[g] 63 He[h] asked for a writing tablet[i] and wrote,[j] “His name is John.” And they were all amazed.[k]
