Luke 9:40-42  New English Translation

40 I[a] begged[b] your disciples to cast it out, but[c] they could not do so.”[d] 41 Jesus answered,[e] “You[f] unbelieving[g] and perverse generation! How much longer[h] must I be with you and endure[i] you?[j] Bring your son here.” 42 As[k] the boy[l] was approaching, the demon threw him to the ground[m] and shook him with convulsions.[n] But Jesus rebuked[o] the unclean[p] spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.
