⁴ But they kept silent. He took the man, healed him, and sent him away.

⁵⁶ Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes.^(A) And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.^(B)

¹⁸ When they heard this they became silent. Then they glorified God, saying, “So God has granted repentance resulting in life^[a] even to the Gentiles!”^(A)

¹⁴ Since he would not be persuaded, we stopped talking and simply said, “The Lord’s will be done!”^(A)
