³³ Sell^(A) your possessions and give to the poor.^(B) Make money-bags^(C) for yourselves that won’t grow old, an inexhaustible treasure^(D) in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

⁸ But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor,^(A) Lord. And if I have extorted^(B) anything from anyone, I’ll pay back four times as much.”^(C)

⁴⁵ They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need.

³⁴ For there was not a needy person among them because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of what was sold,^(A)
