Luke 6:7-9
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised Catholic Edition
7 The scribes and the Pharisees watched him to see whether he would cure on the sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against him. 8 Even though he knew what they were thinking, he said to the man who had the withered hand, ‘Come and stand here.’ He got up and stood there. 9 Then Jesus said to them, ‘I ask you, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the sabbath, to save life or to destroy it?’

Luke 6:7-9
New International Version
7 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely(A) to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.(B) 8 But Jesus knew what they were thinking(C) and said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone.” So he got up and stood there.
9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”
