27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and yet none of them was healed except Naaman of Syria.
28 And as many as were in the synagogue, when they heard that, were filled with wrath. 29 And they rose up and thrust him out of the city, and led him even to the edge of the hill on which their town was built, to cast him down headlong.

27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[a] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”(A)
28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29 They got up, drove him out of the town,(B) and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff.
