¹⁷ The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to Him, and unrolling the scroll, He found the place where it was written:

The Third Prediction of His Death

³¹ Then^(A) He took the Twelve aside and told them, “Listen! We are going up to Jerusalem.^(B) Everything that is written^(C) through the prophets about the Son of Man will be accomplished.^(D)

²² because these are days of vengeance^(A) to fulfill all the things that are written.

³⁷ During^(A) the day, He was teaching in the temple complex,^(B) but in the evening He would go out and spend the night on what is called the Mount of Olives.^(C)

⁴⁴ Then He told them, “These are My words^(A) that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets,^(B) and the Psalms^(C) must be fulfilled.”
