46 Then Jesus, (A)calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, (B)into your hands I (C)commit my spirit!” And having said this (D)he breathed his last. 47 Now (E)when the centurion saw what had taken place, (F)he praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!” 48 And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home (G)beating their breasts.

46 Jesus called out with a loud voice,(A) “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[a](B) When he had said this, he breathed his last.(C)
47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God(D) and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” 48 When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts(E) and went away.
