(A)Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the (B)twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and (C)agreed to give him money. So he promised and sought opportunity to (D)betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude.

Then Satan(A) entered Judas, called Iscariot,(B) one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard(C) and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money.(D) He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
