¹³So they went and found everything just the way Jesus had said. Then they made the Passover food ready.

¹⁴When it was time to eat, he sat down at the table and the apostles sat down with him.

¹²He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.”

¹³They left and found things just as Jesus had told them.^(A) So they prepared the Passover.

¹⁴When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles^(B) reclined at the table.^(C)
