Luke 20:36-38

36 They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise.[a] 37 That the dead will rise even Moses made known in the passage about the bush, when he called ‘Lord’ the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob;(A) 38 and he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”(B)

They are God’s children,(A) since they are children of the resurrection. 37 But in the account of the burning bush, even Moses showed that the dead rise, for he calls the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’[a](B) 38 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”
