Luke 2:37-39

37 and was a widow for eighty-four years.[a] She did not leave the temple, serving God night and day with fasting and prayers.(A) 38 At that very moment,[b] she came up and began to thank God and to speak about him to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.[c](B)

39 When they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.(C)

New International Version
37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.[a](A) She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.(B) 38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.(C)
39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.(D)
