`What woman will not do this? She has ten pieces of silver money. If she loses one of them, she lights a lamp and sweeps the house. She looks for the money until she finds it.

When she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbours to come. She says, "Be glad with me! I have found the piece of money I lost."

10 I tell you, the angels of God will be glad like that when one bad person stops doing wrong things.'

The Parable of the Lost Coin

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’(A) 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”(B)
