Luke 10:33-35
English Standard Version
33 But a (A)Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 He went to him and (B)bound up his wounds, pouring on (C)oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 And the next day he took out two (D)denarii[a] and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’

33 But a Samaritan,(A) as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[a] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
