¹⁹ The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel.^(A) I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.

Seven Angels With Seven Plagues

15 I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign:^(A) seven angels^(B) with the seven last plagues^(C)—last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.

⁶ Out of the temple^(A) came the seven angels with the seven plagues.^(B) They were dressed in clean, shining linen^(C) and wore golden sashes around their chests.^{(D) 7} Then one of the four living creatures^(E) gave to the seven angels^(F) seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.^{(G) 8} And the temple was filled with smoke^(H) from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple^(I) until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath

16 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple^(A) saying to the seven angels,^(B) “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”^(C)
