15 Da bi towgyefo ne nnebɔneyɛfo pii baa Yesu nkyɛn betiee no. 2 Farisifo ne mmara no akyerɛkyerɛfo no huu eyi no, wonwiinwii kae se, “Saa ɔbarima yi gye nnebɔneyɛfo san ne wɔn to nsa didi.” 3 Saa asɛm a wɔkae no ma obuu wɔn bɛ bi se, 4 “Mo mu hena na sɛ ɔwɔ nguan ɔha na wɔn mu baako yera a, ɔrennyaw aduɔkron akron no hɔ nkokyinkyin sare so nhwehwɛ nea wayera no kosi sɛ obehu no? 5 Na sɛ ohu no a, ɔde no abɔ ne kɔn ho, de anigye de no aba. 6 Na sɛ odu fie a, wafrɛfrɛ ne nnamfo ne n’afipamfo nyinaa aka akyerɛ wɔn se, ‘Momma yennye yɛn ani, efisɛ, mahu me guan a ɔyerae no.
7 “Saa ara nso na sɛ ɔdebɔneyɛfo baako sakra n’adwene a, ɔsorofo nyinaa ani gye sen sɛ atreneefo aduɔkron akron wɔ hɔ a adwensakra ho nhia wɔn no’.
8 “Anaasɛ ɔbea bɛn na sɛ ne sika mpɔw du mu baako yera a, ɔrensɔ kanea, mprapra ne dan mu, nhwehwɛ kosi sɛ obehu? 9 Na sɛ ohu a, ɔremfrɛfrɛ ne nnamfo ne n’afipamfo nyinaa nka nkyerɛ wɔn se, ‘Momma yɛn ani nnye, efisɛ, mahu me sika mpɔw a ɛyerae no?’ 10 Saa ara nso na sɛ ɔdebɔneyɛfo baako sakra n’adwene a, Onyankopɔn abɔfo ani gye ara ne no.”

11 Yesu san buu wɔn ɔyera ho bɛ bi se, “Ɔbarima bi wɔ hɔ a na ɔwɔ mmabarima baanu. 12 Wɔn mu akumaa no ka kyerɛɛ n’agya se, ‘M’agya, fa me kyɛfa a mewɔ wɔ w’agyapade mu no ma me!’ Ɔbarima no kyɛɛ n’agyapade mu de ne ba no kyɛfa maa no.
13 “Nna tiaa bi akyi no, ne ba kumaa yi boaboaa n’ahode nyinaa ano tuu kwan kɔɔ akyirikyiri asase bi so kɔbɔɔ ahohwi, hweree n’ahode nyinaa. 14 Ɛno akyi no, ɔkɔm kɛse bi baa asase no so maa ne ho kyeree no. 15 Ɛbaa saa no, ɔde ne ho kɔdan kuromani bi a, ɔma ɔkɔhwɛɛ ne mprako so. 16 Ɔwɔ hɔ no, ɔkɔm dee no maa ne kɔn dɔe sɛ anka obenya aduan a mprako no di no bi mpo adi, nanso, wannya.
17 “N’ani baa ne ho so no, ɔkae se, ‘Apaafo a wɔwɔ m’agya fi didi, mee ma ebi ka ma wɔtow gu. Adɛn na mete ha na ɔkɔm rekum me yi! 18 Mɛsɔre makɔ m’agya nkyɛn na maka makyerɛ no se, ‘Agya, mayɛ ɔsoro ne wo bɔne, 19 na memfata sɛ wɔfrɛ me wo ba bio; fa me yɛ w’apaafo no mu baako.’
20 “Osiim sɛ ɔresan aba n’agya nkyɛn. Ɔnam kwan so akyirikyiri reba no, n’agya no huu no, enti ɔde ayamhyehye yɛɛ ntɛm kohyiaa no, bam no, yɛɛ no atuu.
21 “Aberante yi ka kyerɛɛ n’agya no se, ‘Agya, mayɛ ɔsoro ne wo bɔne, na memfata sɛ wofrɛ me wo ba bio.’
22 “N’ano ansi koraa na n’agya no frɛɛ n’asomfo ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, ‘Monka mo ho nkɔfa ntama pa mmefura no na monhyɛ no pɛtea ne mpaboa a ɛyɛ fɛ. 23 Afei munkokum nantwi ba a wadɔ srade no mfa nyɛ aduan, na yennidi, nnom, nnye yɛn ani, 24 efisɛ, na misusuw sɛ meba yi awu, sɛ nso na ɔte ase; ɔyerae, nanso wasan aba.’ Wofitii ase gyee wɔn ani.
25 “Ne ba panyin a na ofi afum reba no duu afikyiri no, ɔtee nnwonto ne ahurusidi wɔ fie hɔ. 26 Ɛno nti ɔfrɛɛ asomfo no mu baako bisaa no nea ɛrekɔ so wɔ fie hɔ. 27 Ɔsomfo no ka kyerɛɛ no se, ‘Wo nua no asan aba a biribiara anyɛ no enti, w’agya akum nantwi ba a wadɔ srade no ama no.’
28 “Ɔtee saa asɛm yi no, ne bo fuwii enti ɔyɛɛ n’adwene sɛ ɔrenkɔ fie hɔ. N’agya tee saa asɛm yi no, ofii adi baa ne nkyɛn bɛkorɔkorɔɔ no. 29 Ne ba no de awerɛhow buaa no se, ‘M’agya, masom wo mfe dodow yi nyinaa a nea wobɛka biara mitie, nanso wommaa me oguan ba mpo da sɛ minkum na me ne me nnamfonom mfa nnye yɛn ani. 30 Nanso wo ba a ɔkɔbɔɔ ahwohwi no bae yi de, woakum nantwi ba a wadɔ srade no ama no.’
31 “N’agya buaa no se, ‘Me ba, me ne wo na ɛte ha.Biribiara a mewɔ nso, yɛ wo dea. 32 Ɛsɛ sɛ yegye yɛn ani, efisɛ, na misusuw sɛ wo nua yi awu, sɛ nso na ɔte ase; ɔyerae, nanso wasan aba.’“

The Parable of the Lost Sheep(A)
15 Now the tax collectors(B) and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”(C)
3 Then Jesus told them this parable:(D) 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?(E) 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’(F) 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.(G)
The Parable of the Lost Coin
8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’(H) 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”(I)
The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons.(J) 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’(K) So he divided his property(L) between them.
13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth(M) in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.(N) 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned(O) against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.(P)
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.(Q) I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe(R) and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger(S) and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again;(T) he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.(U)
25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
28 “The older brother became angry(V) and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property(W) with prostitutes(X) comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31 “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”(Y)
