³⁵ Therefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and ^(A)keep the ^[a]charge of the Lord, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded.”

^27 (A)From Kohath came the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites; these were the families of the Kohathites.

²⁸ According to the number of all the males, from a month old and above, there were eight thousand ^[a]six hundred ^[b]keeping charge of the sanctuary.

³² And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest was to be chief over the leaders of the Levites, with oversight of those who kept charge of the sanctuary.

^38 (A)Moreover those who were to camp before the tabernacle on the east, before the tabernacle of meeting, were Moses, Aaron, and his sons, ^(B)keeping charge of the sanctuary, ^(C)to meet the needs of the children of Israel; but ^(D)the outsider who came near was to be put to death.

⁵ And you shall attend to ^(A)the duties of the sanctuary and the duties of the altar, ^(B)that there may be no more wrath on the children of Israel.

²³ So they and their children were in charge of the gates of the house of the Lord, the house of the tabernacle, by assignment.

^11 (A)And they burn to the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense; they also set the ^(B)showbread in order on the pure gold table, and the lampstand of gold with its lamps ^(C)to burn every evening; for we keep the command of the Lord our God, but you have forsaken Him.
