³ “If the anointed priest^[a](A) sins, bringing guilt^(B) on the people, he is to present to the Lord a young, unblemished^(C) bull as a sin^[b] offering^(D) for the sin he has committed.

⁷ Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering; make atonement for yourself and the people.^[a](A) Sacrifice the people’s offering and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.”

⁷ But the high priest alone enters the second room, and he does that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance.^(A)
