³¹ The priest shall turn the fat into smoke on the altar, but the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons.^(A)

³⁴ For I have taken the breast of the elevation offering and the thigh that is offered from the Israelites, from their sacrifices of well-being, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons, as a perpetual due from the Israelites.^(A)

³ “This shall be the priests’ due from the people, from those offering a sacrifice, whether an ox or a sheep: they shall give to the priest the shoulder, the two jowls, and the stomach.^(A)
