Leviticus 6:12-14

12 And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not go out, but the priest shall burn wood on it every morning; and he shall lay out the burnt offering on it and offer up in smoke the fat portions of the peace offerings (A)on it. 13 Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it shall not go out.

14 ‘Now this is the law of the grain offering: the sons of Aaron shall bring it near before Yahweh in front of the altar.

New International Version

12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood(A) and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat(B) of the fellowship offerings(C) on it. 13 The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.

The Grain Offering

14 “‘These are the regulations for the grain offering:(D) Aaron’s sons are to bring it before the Lord, in front of the altar.
