7 And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass-offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, unto Jehovah; one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering. 8 And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin-offering first, and [a]wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder: 9 and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin-offering.

7 “‘Anyone who cannot afford(A) a lamb(B) is to bring two doves or two young pigeons(C) to the Lord as a penalty for their sin—one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. 8 They are to bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one for the sin offering. He is to wring its head from its neck,(D) not dividing it completely,(E) 9 and is to splash(F) some of the blood of the sin offering against the side of the altar;(G) the rest of the blood must be drained out at the base of the altar.(H) It is a sin offering.
