29 He shall place[a] his hand on the sin offering’s head and slaughter the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. 30 The priest[b] shall take some of[c] its blood with his finger, and he shall put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering, and he must pour out all the rest of[d] its blood on the altar’s base. 31 He[e] must remove all of its fat just as[f] the fat was removed from[g] the fellowship offerings’ sacrifice, and the priest shall turn it into smoke on the altar as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh. The priest[h] shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.[i]

29 They are to lay their hand on the head(A) of the sin offering(B) and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering.(C) 30 Then the priest is to take some of the blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering(D) and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. 31 They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar(E) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(F) In this way the priest will make atonement(G) for them, and they will be forgiven.(H)
