18 Then, in my presence, he must smear some of the blood on each of the four corners of the incense altar, before pouring out the rest at the foot of the bronze altar[a] near the entrance to the tent. 19-21 After this, the priest will remove the fat from the bull and send it up in smoke on the altar. Finally, he will burn its remains outside the camp, just as he did with the other bull. By this sacrifice the sin of the whole nation will be forgiven.

18 He is to put some of the blood(A) on the horns of the altar that is before the Lord(B) in the tent of meeting. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar(C) of burnt offering at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 19 He shall remove all the fat(D) from it and burn it on the altar,(E) 20 and do with this bull just as he did with the bull for the sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement(F) for the community, and they will be forgiven.(G)
