Leviticus 26:39-45
New King James Version
39 And those of you who are left (A)shall [a]waste away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands;
also in their (B)fathers’ iniquities, which are with them, they shall waste away.
40 ‘But (C)if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,
41 and that I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies;
if their (D)uncircumcised hearts are (E)humbled, and they (F)accept their guilt—
42 then I will (G)remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember;
I will (H)remember the land.
43 (I)The land also shall be left empty by them, and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them;
they will accept their guilt, because they (J)despised My judgments and because their soul abhorred My statutes.
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, (K)I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them;
for I am the Lord their God.
45 But (L)for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, (M)whom I brought out of the land of Egypt (N)in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God:
I am the Lord.’ ”

39 Those of you who are left will waste away in the lands of their enemies because of their sins; also because of their ancestors’(A) sins they will waste away.(B)
40 “‘But if they will confess(C) their sins(D) and the sins of their ancestors(E)—their unfaithfulness and their hostility toward me, 41 which made me hostile(F) toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies—then when their uncircumcised hearts(G) are humbled(H) and they pay(I) for their sin, 42 I will remember my covenant with Jacob(J) and my covenant with Isaac(K) and my covenant with Abraham,(L) and I will remember the land. 43 For the land will be deserted(M) by them and will enjoy its sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected(N) my laws and abhorred my decrees.(O) 44 Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies,(P) I will not reject them or abhor(Q) them so as to destroy them completely,(R) breaking my covenant(S) with them. I am the Lord their God. 45 But for their sake I will remember(T) the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt(U) in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.’”
