²⁷ ‘Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me, ²⁸ then ^(A)I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I, even I, will punish you seven times for your sins. ²⁹ Further, ^(B)you will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters you will eat.

^52 (A)It shall besiege you in all your ^[a]towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it shall besiege you in all your ^[b]towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you. ^53 (B)Then you shall eat the ^[c]offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the distress by which your enemy will ^[d]oppress you.

⁵⁷ and toward her afterbirth which issues from between her ^[a]legs and toward her children whom she bears; for ^(A)she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the distress by which your enemy will ^[b]oppress you in your ^[c]towns.
