In the 50th year they must make loud music. They must blow trumpets on the tenth day of the seventh month. That is the Day of Atonement. They must blow the trumpet through all the country. 10 The year will be special. It is a Jubilee year. It is a time for every one of my people to become free. Everyone can return to his own land and to his family. 11 The 50th year is a Jubilee year. The people must not plant any seed in the fields. They must not harvest anything that grows by itself on the bushes.

Then have the trumpet(A) sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month;(B) on the Day of Atonement(C) sound the trumpet throughout your land. 10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty(D) throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee(E) for you; each of you is to return to your family property(F) and to your own clan. 11 The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee(G) for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines.(H)
