The aftergrowth of your harvest you shall not reap, nor shall you pick the grapes of your untrimmed vines. It shall be a year of rest for the land. While the land has its sabbath, all its produce will be food to eat for you yourself and for your male and female slave, for your laborer and the tenant who live with you, and likewise for your livestock and for the wild animals on your land.

Do not reap what grows of itself(A) or harvest the grapes(B) of your untended vines.(C) The land is to have a year of rest. Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year(D) will be food for you—for yourself, your male and female servants, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you, as well as for your livestock and the wild animals(E) in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten.
