4 But[a] in the seventh year it shall be a Sabbath of complete rest[b] for the land—a Sabbath for Yahweh; you[c] must not sow your field, and you must not prune your vineyard. 5 You[d] must not reap your harvest’s aftergrowth, and you must not harvest the grapes of your unpruned vines—it shall be a year of complete rest[e] for the land. 6 And a Sabbath of the land shall be for food for you:[f] for you[g] and for your slave and for your slave woman and for your hired worker and for your temporary residents[h] who are dwelling as aliens with you;

4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest,(A) a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.(B) 5 Do not reap what grows of itself(C) or harvest the grapes(D) of your untended vines.(E) The land is to have a year of rest. 6 Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year(F) will be food for you—for yourself, your male and female servants, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,
