23 “‘The land really belongs to me. So you can’t sell it forever. You are only foreigners and travelers living for a time on my land. 24 People might sell their land. But the family will always get its land back. 25 A person in your country might become very poor. He might be so poor that he must sell his land. So his close relatives must come and buy it back for him.

23 “‘The land(A) must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine(B) and you reside in my land as foreigners(C) and strangers. 24 Throughout the land that you hold as a possession, you must provide for the redemption(D) of the land.
25 “‘If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative(E) is to come and redeem(F) what they have sold.
