²³ The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine; with me you are but aliens and tenants.^(A)

⁷ so that no inheritance of the Israelites shall be transferred from one tribe to another, for all Israelites shall retain the inheritance of their ancestral tribes.

¹⁸ The prince shall not take any of the inheritance of the people, thrusting them out of their holding; he shall give his sons their inheritance out of his own holding, so that none of my people shall be dispossessed of their holding.”^(A)
