Leviticus 24:19-21

19 Anyone who maims another shall suffer the same injury in return: 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; the injury inflicted is the injury to be suffered. 21 One who kills an animal shall make restitution for it; but one who kills a human being shall be put to death.

New International Version

19 Anyone who injures their neighbor is to be injured in the same manner: 20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth.(A) The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury. 21 Whoever kills an animal must make restitution,(B) but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death.(C)
