¹¹ Her son cursed and blasphemed the Name,^(A) and they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, a daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan.^(B))

¹⁶ Whoever blasphemes the name of Yahweh is to be put to death;^(A) the whole community must stone him. If he blasphemes the Name, he is to be put to death, whether the foreign resident or the native.

²⁶ He warned the community, “Get away now from the tents of these wicked men. Don’t touch anything that belongs to them, or you will be swept away because of all their sins.” ²⁷ So they got away from the dwellings of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Meanwhile, Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrance of their tents with their wives, children, and infants.

⁷ and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them;^(A) do not worship them or bow down to them.
