The Day of Atonement

26 The Lord spoke to Moses:

27 It is the tenth day of this seventh month that is the Day of Atonement. It shall be proclaimed as a holy convocation for you. You shall humble yourselves,[a] and you shall present an offering made by fire to the Lord. 28 You shall not do any work on this special day,[b] because it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.

The Day of Atonement(A)
