24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, even a land that [a]floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
25 (A)Therefore shall ye put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean, neither shall ye [b]defile your fowls with beasts and fowls, nor with any creeping thing, that the ground bringeth forth, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 Therefore shall ye be (B)holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from other people that ye should be mine.

24 But I said to you, “You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey.”(A) I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart from the nations.(B)
25 “‘You must therefore make a distinction between clean and unclean animals and between unclean and clean birds.(C) Do not defile yourselves by any animal or bird or anything that moves along the ground—those that I have set apart as unclean for you. 26 You are to be holy to me(D) because I, the Lord, am holy,(E) and I have set you apart from the nations(F) to be my own.
