^26 (A)“You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. ^(B)You shall not interpret omens or ^(C)tell fortunes.

^31 (A)“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.

^27 (A)“A man or a woman who is a medium or a necromancer shall surely be put to death. They shall be ^(B)stoned with stones; ^(C)their blood shall be upon them.”

¹⁰ There shall not be found among you anyone ^(A)who burns his son or his daughter as an offering,^[a] anyone who ^(B)practises divination or ^(C)tells fortunes or interprets omens, or ^(D)a sorcerer ¹¹ or a charmer or ^(E)a medium or a necromancer or ^(F)one who enquires of the dead,

³ Now ^(A)Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him ^(B)in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had put ^(C)the mediums and the necromancers out of the land.
