42 Whatsoever goeth upon the breast on four feet, or hath many feet, or traileth on the earth, you shall not eat, because it is abominable.
43 Do not defile your souls, nor touch aught thereof, lest you be unclean,
44 For I am the Lord your God: be holy because I am holy. Defile not your souls by any creeping thing, that moveth upon the earth.

42 You are not to eat any creature that moves along the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is unclean. 43 Do not defile yourselves by any of these creatures.(A) Do not make yourselves unclean by means of them or be made unclean by them. 44 I am the Lord your God;(B) consecrate yourselves(C) and be holy,(D) because I am holy.(E) Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground.(F)
