I will be proved holy;(B)
in the sight of all the people
I will be honored.(C)’”

7 Then the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah,(A) and God struck him dead on the spot for his irreverence,(B) and he died there next to the ark of God. 8 David was angry because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzzah, so he named that place Outburst Against Uzzah,[a] as it is today.

8 Then David was angry because the Lord’s wrath(C) had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.[a](D)
