GOD’S WORD Translation
4 Place your hand on the animal’s head. The burnt offering will be accepted to make peace with the Lord. 5 Then slaughter the bull in the Lord’s presence. Aaron’s sons, the priests, will offer the blood. They will throw it against all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 6 Skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

4 You are to lay your hand on the head(A) of the burnt offering,(B) and it will be accepted(C) on your behalf to make atonement(D) for you. 5 You are to slaughter(E) the young bull(F) before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons(G) the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar(H) at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 6 You are to skin(I) the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.(J)
