Leviticus 1:3-4

3 “If his gift is a burnt offering(A) from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male.(B) He must bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he[a] may be accepted by the Lord.(C) 4 He is to lay his hand on(D) the head of the burnt offering so it can be accepted(E) on his behalf to make atonement for him.(F)

3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.
4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
