Leviticus 1:13-15
The Voice
13 Wash the animal’s organs and legs with water. The priest will offer up the whole burnt offering on the altar, and the smoke of the sacrifice will rise and be a pleasant aroma to Me.
14 But if you have no flock or herd of your own, then you may offer Me birds; your offering is to be turtledoves or young pigeons. 15 The priest will take it to the altar, pull off its head, and offer up the sacrifice as smoke on the altar. Its blood will be drained onto the side of the altar.
Leviticus 1:13-15
New International Version
13 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(A) and the priest is to bring all of them and burn them(B) on the altar.(C) It is a burnt offering,(D) a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
14 “‘If the offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, you are to offer a dove or a young pigeon.(E) 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head(F) and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.(G)
