11 They must kill it at the north side of the altar in the sight of the Lord. The priests in Aaron’s family line must splash its blood against the sides of the altar. 12 They must cut the animal into pieces. The priest must place the pieces on the burning wood on the altar. The pieces include the head and the fat. 13 They must wash the inside parts with water. The legs must also be washed. The priest must bring all the parts to the altar. He must burn them there. It is a burnt offering. It is a food offering. Its smell pleases the Lord.

11 You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar(A) before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.(B) 12 You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat,(C) on the wood that is burning on the altar. 13 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(D) and the priest is to bring all of them and burn them(E) on the altar.(F) It is a burnt offering,(G) a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
