¹⁵Ceased hath the joy of our heart, Turned to mourning hath been our dancing.

¹⁶Fallen hath the crown [from] our head, Wo [is] now to us, for we have sinned.

¹⁷For this hath our heart been sick, For these have our eyes been dim.

Lamentations 5:15-17

New International Version

¹⁵Joy is gone from our hearts;
    our dancing has turned to mourning.^(A)
¹⁶The crown^(B) has fallen from our head.^(C)
    Woe to us, for we have sinned!^(D)
¹⁷Because of this our hearts^(E) are faint,^(F)
    because of these things our eyes^(G) grow dim^(H)
