¹⁵ But when the children of Israel ^(A)cried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer for them: Ehud the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a ^(B)left-handed man. By him the children of Israel sent tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

⁶ So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel ^(A)cried out to the Lord.

⁷ And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites,

^10 (A)And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, saying, “We have ^(B)sinned against You, because we have both forsaken our God and served the Baals!”

¹⁰ Then they cried out to the Lord, and said, ^(A)‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord ^(B)and served the Baals and ^[a]Ashtoreths; but now deliver us from the hand of our enemies, and we will serve You.’
