^14 (A)And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel. So He ^(B)delivered them into the hands of plunderers who despoiled them; and ^(C)He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they ^(D)could no longer stand before their enemies.

³ Then ^(A)the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of ^(B)Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of ^(C)Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.

²⁹ In the days of Pekah king of Israel, ^[a]Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria ^(A)came and took ^(B)Ijon, Abel Beth Maachah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he ^(C)carried them captive to Assyria.
